January 21	Atascadero, CA Inner Child, Inner Family A Workshop with Lucia Capacchione Be Well Center Saturday, January 21, 10 AM - 6 PM price: $120 Inner Child, Inner Family: As we grow up, we're taught to judge and avoid certain feelings. IN doing so, we lose touch with our inner Child and our true Self. The Inner Child lives in our emotions and physical body. The roots of our creativity, playfulness and spirituality are also found in our Inner Child. in this workshop we strengthen our Inner Family by developing a Nurturing and a Protective Parent within to care for the Inner Child. We embrace all of our feelings and take responsibility for our own physical and emotional needs. Practicing this kind of self-care we remove expectations from others and heal our relationships. We stop turning others into parent substitutes or surrogate children and engage in healthy, balanced interactions. Through Creative Journaling – drawing and writing with the non-dominant hand (a technique Lucia originated) – and Voice Dialogue role plays, we access our feelings and needs. We also practice communicating our needs to others. In a safe, non judgemental atmosphere of group support we let the creative Inner Child out to play All sharing is voluntary. January 22	Atascadero, CA Visioning®: Ten Steps to Designing the Life of Your Dreams A Workshop with Lucia Capacchione Be Well Center Sunday, January 22, 10 AM - 6 PM price: $120 Visioning® is a ground-breaking method of personal, family, project and organizational planning originated by Dr. Lucia Capacchione. This playful approach to making dreams come true, as presented in her book Visioning, applies imagination to the "real world." Through photo collage, drawing & writing with the non-dominant hand, we learn to think with both sides of the brain. Creating vision boards as "wish maps" we use visual thinking and illustrate our true hearts desire. This is followed with journal writing for working through blocks to success. Dr. Capacchione's original method of right brain journaling also yields powerful insights, motivation and belief in ones' dream. Voluntary group sharing provides practice in rallying support from others. In a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere, participants become Visionaries who articulate and realize their creative potential. No talent or experience in the arts or writing are required; only an open heart and mind. Techniques can be applied to personal life, relationships, health, work, and business. March 10-11	Atascadero, CA Family Constellations 2 Day Intensive A Workshop with Lucia Capacchione Be Well Center Sat. & Sun. March 10 - 11, 9 AM - 5 PM price: $200 Family Constellations, originated by Bert Hellinger, is a method of healing and therapy popular worldwide, especially in Europe, Mexico and the U.S. This profoundly spiritual method of transgenerational work goes beyond most therapeutic systems, addressing the impact our ancestors' traumas and secrets has on us. These effects return from generation to generation and are not usually accessible through typical therapy focused on the individual. We may be carrying physical, emotional, mental and spiritual challenges that do not belong to us at all, but echo entanglements, traumas and secrets locked away in our family history. In this intensive with Lucia Capacchione, we work together to reveal ancestral burdens impacting our lives today. Focusing on a particular issue or pattern, we choose others to stand in for key family members or elements. Representatives move spontaneously, feeling and thinking as did the people they are standing in for. Anyone can do this. It takes no experience or special ability or knowledge of the ancestor one is representing. Lucia assists representatives to acknowledge and release the burdens and suffering of ancestors. Removing energy blocks in this way allows love to flow again in the family system and in the individual whose constellation is being done. 2012 Creative Journal Expressive Arts Training Programs
October 19-26	Mission, Texas Creative Journal Expressive Arts Certification Training A year-long training for certification to teach, counsel and coach using Dr. Capacchione's methods. Independent work/study program consists of a week long intensive at the beginning of the program and a second intensive at the end of your training year, 4 days assisting under a master teacher, plus supervised field work at your own location.
